[Client focus]

We spend consultation time with our Clients before design starts: We seek the core questions Clients face and establish shared positions. From here, our aim is to provide solutions of greater clarity and quality that transcend our clients expectations. Physical constraints, economic imperatives, project scheduling, procurement strategies, time, compliance, consents and construction constitute opportunities in our architectural creative process and are part of our materials of design.

We believe an effective project is delivered through good service, detailed drawings and specifications and excellent project management. We have a broad quality assurance programme, information data library and learned methodology that support our projects.

As a team united by architectural innovation, we bring our diverse expertise to a collaborative working environment. A broad range of disciplines support our architectural work, including resource management strategies, model making and digital technologies, landscape architecture, sustainable design initiatives, urban planning and interior design.

The more complex a design challenge, the more it benefits from multiple voices and philosophies. We see our design process is an inclusive ‘conversation’ that involves people who might build, use, sell or prove the project concurrently and cross-functionally: our clients, planners, developers, consultants, engineers, market experts, citizens, public officials, specialist consultants, suppliers and contractors.

A member of the Green Building Council of New Zealand, sustainable methodology is integral to our work. At their highest level, the measurable ecology of a building and the poetic dimensions of architecture are essentially the same. These dimensions ensure that our architecture remains flexible, valuable and appurtuant over generations.
